An exciting opportunity currently exists for you to join the Emergency Department team as a Clinical Nurse. You will provide best practise nursing care in the assessment and treatment of patients to promote, maintain and improve their health, functional ability and quality of life.

About you:

In your new role you will: 

• Promote and foster service improvement through the implementation of quality frameworks in order to ensure the continuance of high quality, safe and effective care to all patients within the CHHHS.
• Provide leadership to assist novice/graduate nurses to effectively assess, plan, manage and evaluate patient care activities at the required level within the specified clinical setting.
• Hold and maintain a high level of clinical skills.
• Apply advanced critical thinking skills to manage and coordinate complex situations.
• Promotes professionalism, and a positive practise environment.
• Work collaboratively in leading implementation of policy, practice changes and clinical innovation.
