An exciting opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Senior to provide high level Nuclear Medicine/PET service and professional leadership, across more than two modalities, as a part of a multidisciplinary team. To facilitate the delivery of Nuclear Medicine/PET services to the stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Deliver a high level Nuclear Medicine Technologist service, across at least two modalities, within Nuclear Medicine/PET with regard to departmental protocols, professional standards and ethics.
- Provide high level general clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery, equipment, professional standards and the development of clinical services.
- Active involvement in the provision of in-service presentations, mentoring, coaching and sharing knowledge with others.
- Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of Nuclear Medicine services.
Remuneration value up to $62 944 p.a., comprising salary rates $64.64 - $69.55 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (part time position, 30.4 hrs p.f.).
