As the Manager, HR Centre Services, you'll be at the heart of our HR operations—leading a team of Principal HR Business Partners and support units to
deliver consistent, high-quality services across QCS correctional centres. From strategic advisory to payroll, rostering, and workforce management, your leadership will ensure our frontline teams are supported with best-practice HR solutions.

You'll work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, building strong relationships and driving continuous improvement in service delivery. This is a unique opportunity to lead in a complex, high-impact environment where your work directly supports public safety and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and manage a centralised HR function supporting correctional centres across Queensland
• Empower and develop HR teams within the Custodial Operations Command model
• Oversee specialist HR functions including rostering and centre services support
• Drive consistency and excellence in HR operational policy, practice, and service delivery
• Collaborate with another Manager, HR Centre Services to ensure seamless leadership across portfolios
• Build influential relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a confident and capable Manager who brings:

• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary HR teams
• Strong background in senior HR advisory roles, including complex case management
• Experience in operational HR within public safety, 24-hour operating or unionised environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to improve HR practices
• Formal HR qualifications (highly regarded)
• Some travel may be required, as negotiated with the Director, HR Centre Services
