- Salary range: $39.86 to $58.59 p.h. (HP3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
The Mental Health Clinician will provide Case Management services through a highly collaborative, consultation framework, interfacing with the TAIHS primary health care teams.
The Mental Health Clinician will support and enhance provision of culturally capable, comprehensive primary health care at TAIHS that is inclusive of individual's mental health care, co-existing physical health and psycho-social–lifestyle complexities.
Requirements:
- Proof of qualification (Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- While not mandatory, status as an AASW accredited Mental Health Social Worker is highly regarded.
- Overseas qualified Social Work candidates require a "certification of eligibility" letter from the AASW to confirm their eligibility for membership of AASW. Overseas qualified applicants should include such evidence with their application to be considered for short listing in the selection process.
- While not mandatory, eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2000 would be well regarded.
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
