An exciting opportunity exists for a Pharmacist Advanced Materials Management Team Leader. The Pharmacist Advanced Materials Management Team Leader is part of a team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants providing services to patients within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and is part of the Pharmacy Leadership Team. The position is responsible for providing advanced clinical, professional, and strategic leadership for pharmacy services for the Materials Management team across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This role requires a high level of managerial knowledge, leadership skills and an advanced level of clinical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Is accountable for the efficient and cost-effective procurement service for medications, bulk fluids and other procurement items for the pharmacy departments within the health service.
- Provide authoritative counsel to senior management, colleagues and other relevant stakeholders in matters relating to material management services to stakeholders.
- Is accountable for the coordination of medication recalls and shortages across Sunshine Coast Health facilities, upholding and supporting Medication Safety initiatives as they pertain to materials management. Facilitate SCH communications in collaboration with relevant stakeholders regarding recalls and shortages.
- Identify and participate in projects or initiatives investigating improved practices, workflows and/or costs relating to inventory and purchasing.
Remuneration value up to $172 615 p.a., comprising salary between $144 991 - $151 289 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5).
