What you'll do
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels across the branch.
- Provide high level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.
- Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably with the ITIL framework.
- Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management.
- Demonstrated expertise and technical skills in one or more of the following;
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2022 (OS and Hardware)
- Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/Group Policy
- Microsoft Clustering
- Web Server technologies (IIS 6, 7, 7.5, Apache)
- Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) 2402
- Scripting technologies (VBscript, PowerShell)
- Virtualisation (vSphere)
- Provide high level of technical expertise to provide technical direction, standardisation, professional advice and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focus organisation.
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical domain specialists, application specialists and end users.
- Demonstrated skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.
