Division of Cancer Services at the Princess Alexandra Hospital are looking for Clinical Nurse Consultant - First Nations, Cultural and Linguistically Diverse, Disabilities Cancer Care Coordinator to join their team. The Division of Cancer is a highly developed, multidisciplinary cancer service providing tertiary and quaternary level, comprehensive adult cancer services for Metro South Health and the wider Queensland community for a range of cancer related conditions with further expansion of the service to include Paediatric radiation oncology services.

About the Role
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise for the planning and coordination of complex cancer care for First Nations, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and persons with a disability within the Division of Cancer, through the application of advanced clinical knowledge, skills, and experience. This includes the provision of timely and consistent cancer care knowledge, education, and support to patients with cancer and their carers/families prior to, and throughout their treatment journey.
- Responsible for providing clinical consultancy to patients, carers and staff relevant to Division of Services First Nations, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Persons with Disabilities speciality.
- Provide expert assessment to inform clinical care planning and deliver advanced nursing practice to improve patient care outcomes.
- Collaborate with and support the Division of Cancer healthcare team to deliver safe innovative and contemporary best practice care, throughout all phases of the cancer continuum.
