The role works both on-site with clients and within the CISSU team to deliver a consistent service experience for customers in alignment with agreed processes and service levels to ensure the business is achieving “maximum value” from the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) services they use.
What you'll do
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services, and workplaces. - Customer Service - Apply independent judgement in analysing and assisting with the development of scientific and clinical practices, procedures and protocols in support of associated laboratory and clinical information systems.
- Problem Solving - Apply increasingly independent judgement, commensurate with level of experience, in the analysis of technical and scientific issues and the provision of advice and solution to clients and stakeholders where appropriate.
- Data Request – Assist in the established clinical data request process involving customer liaison, review, recommendation, data extraction, data processing, privacy and data security.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Scientific and Technical Knowledge – Demonstrated ability to apply advanced technical or competent scientific level of knowledge across a broad range of pathology, forensic or public health laboratory practice particularly in relation to providing advice on workplace procedures.
- Problem Solving Skill – Demonstrated skill and experience in analysing, learning and applying advanced scientific knowledge, and developing solutions for customers from across a broad range of pathology, forensic or public health laboratories.
- Communication Skill – Proven communication, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills including the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with senior management and key stakeholders on issues requiring organisational change.
- Data Extraction and Processing Skills – Demonstrated knowledge and experience and/or the ability in the provision of data extraction, processing and reporting services.
