A Role with Purpose

Based in Metropolitan North Region (Nundah and North Lakes Offices) this role is to lead a team working with at risk young people appearing in the Children Court, supporting reintergration into an appropriate education pathway and building external partnerships to provide support to at risk young people and their families.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of the Education Justice Initiative in Metropolitan North Region.
  • Strategically manage and triage regional referrals.
  • Liase with internal and external stakeholder including multi-agency collaborative panels.
  • Lead the management of recruitment, workforce planning, training, supervision and performance of staff to build capacity and ensure a high level of service delivery in line with departmental requirements.

The Perfect Fit

  • Strong Leadership skills including evidence of leading a team.
  • Experience in case management.
  • Education, Court and/or Youth Justice experience preferred but not essential.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Blue Card
  • Driver's License
