Your opportunity:  

  • The role of the Senior Medical Officer/MOPP/MSPP is responsibile for delivering high quality clinical and non clinical services that directly or indirectly support the care and well being of patients and clients across the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

Several Permanent Full Time (80 hrs p.f.) and Permanent Part Time (Hours negotiable) Positions available. You'll have the chance to live and work in one of six unique and friendly communities:

  • Biggenden – A rural gem at the gateway to the North Burnett.

  • Childers – Historic charm surrounded by sugar cane fields and close to the coast.

  • Eidsvold – A heritage town rich in Indigenous culture and bushland beauty.

  • Gayndah – Australia's oldest town, famous for citrus and country hospitality.

  • Gin Gin – A thriving township with a strong sense of community and connection.

  • Monto – Surrounded by stunning national parks and fertile farmland.

There are multiple appointment options available including Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist), Medical Superintendent with Right of Private Practice, Medical Officer with Right of Private Practice.
