The Allied Health Hinterland at the Clermont Multi-Purpose Health Service, Dysart Hospital & Moranbah Hospital is seeking applications for a Team Leader to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To implement the Allied Health strategic vision and lead a trans-disciplinary Allied Health team, delivering clinical services to clients in the Hinterland of the Mackay Hospital and Health Service, covering a range of clinical conditions, complexity and age groups. The Hinterland Allied Health team operates within a Professional Skill-Sharing and Delegation (PSSD) model of care by delivering an expanded scope of clinical practice. Clinical care is provided in person, via tele-heath and outreach throughout the Mackay Hospital and Health Service. In certain circumstances overnight accommodation may be necessary. The position reports operationally to the Rural Operations Manager and professionally to the Director of Allied Health, Sub-acute and Ambulatory Services.
About the Team
The Mackay Hospital and Health Service is responsible for the provision of public health services to clients with a range of facilities located in Mackay, Sarina, Proserpine, Cannonvale, Clermont, Dysart, Moranbah, Collinsville, Bowen, Middlemount and Glenden. The health facilities located outside of Mackay form the Mackay Hospital and Health Service Rural Services, and provide a range of acute and aged care, community, allied health and mental health services.
This position will be based in Moranbah with outreach services to Clermont and Dysart Hospital, which provide rural health services with a primary health care focus.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
