We are looking for a Manager (Passenger Transport Operations) to lead a high performing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive the delivery of essential frontline transport services and contracts, while fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders, operators, and the local community. This is a unique opportunity to influence meaningful transport outcomes across Queensland—no two days will be the same.
About the Role:
As Manager - Passenger Transport Operations, you will:
• Lead a local team, managing resources, finances, and staff performance.
• Drive a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the delivery and regulation of passenger transport services, including the School Transport Assistance Scheme.
• Provide expert advice to customers and industry, and manage complex complaints or compliance issues.
• Act as a regulator, ensuring adherence to legislation and standards through education and enforcement.
• Support emergency response efforts, including during natural disasters.
• Foster strategic partnerships with local stakeholders to improve transport solutions and outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements
• Current C class driver licence.
• Willingness to travel across the state if required and work outside of normal hours during emergencies.
