Nutrition and Dietetics are looking for a Dietitian (Gastroenterology) – Senior to join their Bayside Health Service team. The purpose of this role is to deliver senior Dietitian services within inpatient services at Redland Hospital and to ambulatory patients as part of the Gastroenterology service (Including Dietitian First services) at Wynnum-Manly Community Health Centre, Gunda Pa and Redland Hospital.

About the Role
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver Nutrition and Dietetic services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.
- Acts as a clinical reference point with the Nutrition and Dietetic team and responds to every-day clinical demands.
- Collaborate on and undertake the development of evidence-based clinical practices, policies and protocols within the Nutrition and Dietetic team.
- Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to Nutrition and Dietetic complex decision making with only occasional clinical/professional supervision.
The purpose of this role is to deliver senior Dietitian services within inpatient services at Redland Hospital and to ambulatory patients as part of the Gastroenterology service (Including Dietitian First services) at Wynnum-Manly Community Health Centre, Gunda Pa and Redland Hospital.
This includes:
- Delivering high quality evidenced based Nutrition and Dietetic clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality Nutrition and Dietetic services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
- Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
