About you:
In your new role you will:
- Lead change management processes by providing professional leadership in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support, co-ordinate and integrate the continuum of care in the delivery of Physiotherapy Services across Cairns Hospital. This involves engaging in cross-professional consultancy, negotiation and liaison as relevant.
- Assist with the administration, direction and control of asset management, financial management and human resource management of the Cairns Hospital Physiotherapy Service cost centres.
- Work co-operatively, effectively and assist the Director of Physiotherapy to promote optimal service provision and outcomes including assisting and contributing to effective administration and management of resources.
- Provide advanced clinical assessments, treatments and evaluations within a specialised field of Physiotherapy.
- Manage daily organisation of the workload of the Physiotherapy Service through liaison with relevant senior staff, in the most appropriate manner using planning, system development and contemporary human resource management skills.
