TNSR has a strategic, state-wide focus on the coordination of TMR's emergency management and transport security frameworks contributing to assurance, insight, and advice to enhance the security and resilience of the Queensland transport network and systems for everyone.
Program Governance and Systems (PGS) ensures consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in the delivery of products, services, systems, and processes that underpin and enable the success of TNSR's program of work. The team leads capability development and is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of systems and processes and providing bespoke technical guidance, contributing to the delivery of TMR's disruptive event response and enhanced situational awareness.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• System administration, including Microsoft Power Platform systems, to integrate data feeds and customize team tools for situational awareness.
• Ensuring TMR is able to contain/respond to disruptive events impacting the safety of the transport network by identifying, analysing and reporting on emergent issues.
• Provide professional and timely advice to senior management or customers of TMR on emergency management related issues, systems and processes.
• Support the team by developing solutions to identified business and capability issues.
• Contributing to the department's 24/7 watch function and advisory/liaison function during emergency response phases.
Some conditions are outlined below:
• The incumbent may be required to work outside standard working hours and oncall as required due to the nature of the business.
• Completion of Queensland Disaster Management Arrangements and Introduction to Disaster Coordination Centres online courses.
• Contribute to the roster to perform the 24/7 watch function and advisory/liaison function.
