Your key accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Identify and analyse complex information release issues and recommend and implement acceptable solutions.
- Ensure the provision of, access to, and the release of information is in accordance with Queensland Police Service policies and procedures and current legislative provisions and agreed service levels.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and performance standards to ensure they reflect best practice and support a compliant information release framework.
- Provide guidance and training to Police Information Centre staff with a view to staff development and optimising performance if required.
- Provide expert advice and assistance to internal and external on the implementation of, and compliance with information release policies, procedures and legislation.
- Develop and maintain key relationships to ensure client needs are being appropriately addressed.
