About your opportunity:
Join our dedicated team at Mareeba Hospital as an Administration Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, confidential administrative support.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with fellow administrative staff, contributing to the seamless operation of our hospital services and making a meaningful impact on patient care.
About your role:
- Provide high quality, confidential administrative support to the team to ensure timely and accurate records are maintained.
- Actively contribute to a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
- Provide a quality client service by communicating effectively with staff, patients, carers, and external agencies demonstrating empathy, patience, and a positive service focus.
- Respond to enquiries – in person, by phone, mail, email, redirect and prioritise where appropriate.
- Coordinate all aspects of the office requirements including stationery and office equipment ordering, equipment repairs and maintenance.
