Your opportunity

As a Project Support Officer in the Venues Program, you'll play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of infrastructure for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This includes the development of Athletes Villages in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Rockhampton, in collaboration with Brisbane 2032, Queensland Treasury, and local governments.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the team to support infrastructure planning for major Games projects.
  • Build effective networks and rapport with stakeholders across government, industry, and community.
  • Contribute to program and project reporting, briefings, and submissions, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain and improve project management and reporting systems to support business needs.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform proposals and recommendations.
  • Support administration of complex infrastructure projects, working with multidisciplinary teams to manage risks and meet milestones.
  • Coordinate office administration activities, including records management.
