State Library of Queensland (State Library) provides funding and resourcing support to Indigenous Knowledge Centre's (IKCs) owned and operated by First Nations Councils across Queensland.

The role of Engagement Officer, within the First Nations branch, plays an important role in working directly with councils to contribute to self-determined priorities and activities delivered through IKCs.

This role is unique and provides opportunities to directly support equitable access to library collections, resources, development and community-led priorities.
