An exciting opportunity exists for a Data Validation Officer to join the Integrated Business Management Team. The Sunshine Coast and Hospital Health Service Personnel Register (PR) is responsible for providing a consistent approach to the management, assurance and control of data records, within Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Personnel Register and SCUH ID Cards. The purpose of the Data Validation Officer PR role is to provide high level support to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service personnel needing legitimate access to SCUH facilities or ICT systems. You will play a key role in supporting staff and business areas across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service staff, analysing and processing records, assisting with monthly reporting and ensuring data validation processes and controls are followed.

The Sunshine Coast and Hospital Health Service Personnel Register (PR) is responsible for providing a consistent approach to the management, assurance and control of data records, within Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Personnel Register and SCUH ID Cards. The purpose of the Data Validation Officer PR role is to provide high level support to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service personnel needing legitimate access to SCUH facilities or ICT systems. You will play a key role in supporting staff and business areas across the SCHHS staff, analysing and processing records, assisting with monthly reporting and ensuring data validation processes and controls are followed.
Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide technical, data and process expertise and support to all SCHHS personnel and any parties needing legitimate access to SCUH facilities or relevant ICT solutions reliant on the Personnel Register (PR) including data exchanges, reporting and troubleshooting in collaboration with the Senior Business Advisor IBM.
- Contribute to the development of training documents and deliver training to various Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and QH staff on the application of PR, workflow and processes.
- Perform quality assurance checks on PR content to monitor system functionality, resolve problems with front-end configuration, proactively support the Senior Business Advisor, IBM to plan for ongoing data exchanges and to execute remedial activities daily.
- Loading person data (both in bulk and individually) ensuring that scheduled jobs are running, exceptions are resolved, and ad hoc requests are processed daily.
Remuneration value up to $45 670 p.a, comprising salary rates $45.81 - $50.46 p.h, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO4) (part time position, 30.4 hrs p.f.).
