Service Delivery Officer

The Finance Services team within the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business is responsible for delivering accurate and timely finance services to Queensland Government agencies. As the Service Delivery Officer you will:
• Deliver end-to-end transactional processing for QSS customers with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency, adhering to the appropriate legislation and frameworks, operating to key standards.
• Monitor and prioritise work queues to ensure that work is completed within agreed service levels.
• Identify and resolve issues and errors within the transactional processing process.
• Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders, and escalate issues as required.
• Work collaboratively within the organisation to ensure a seamless service +delivery experience.
• Continuously review and improve procedures.

Role requirements:
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive, effective team relationships and actively contribute to team success.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills applicable to a shared services environment, including accurate data entry and proficiency in using multiple computer systems.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to deliver information clearly, listen actively, clarify details, and negotiate successful outcomes.
• Commitment to ongoing personal development and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to identifying learning opportunities in daily work.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly, demonstrating initiative and strong time-management skills without the need for direct supervision.
• Occasional weekend work may be required during peak workload periods to support business-as-usual and project work.
