The role:
Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, the Principal Technical Specialist (CyberArk) will play a lead role in the State-wide Implementation of Enterprise Password Vault project, and other Privileged Access Management projects within the Cyber Security Program. This role will provide comprehensive experience in implementing the Application Control and Restrict Administrative Privileges mitigating strategies. This role will also provide strategic direction and technical management support to the technical team for a successful delivery of the project's technical outcomes.
Duties will include:
- Rationalisation and implementation of Application Whitelisting policies using CyberArk's EPM.
- Rationalisation and reduction of administrative privileges using CyberArk's Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM).
- Technical change management, implementation, and onboarding of privileged credentials in Enterprise Password Vault (EPV).
- Partner with key stakeholders, HHSs and external suppliers / vendors in developing, socialisation and implementation of technical plans.
- Provide leadership and support to the PAM technical team.
- Apply high-level technical skills and knowledge of Privileged Access Management domains to the continual maturity of the PAM capability.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience in technology design including integration of technologies and have specialist knowledge in the following technical domains:
- CyberArk's Privileged Access Management
- Windows 10 Desktop Operating System
- Microsoft, Solaris, and Red Hat Server Management
- PowerShell and API scripting
- Demonstrated high level of expertise and experience in analysis and rationalisation of applications and good understanding of service delivery and support models and their impacts within a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, at business and technical levels, complex architectural concepts, drivers, and issues, in both written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrated understanding of how to integrate information technology with business processes and people.
While experience in health care is not a mandatory requirement, we highly value candidates who have demonstrated relevant experience in clinical systems, health IT, or digital health.
