Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
About the Role
In this role, reporting directly to the Manager, Technical Customer Support, you will deliver expert technical support and prompt issue resolution to ensure the reliability of information systems, hardware, and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will also include managing device logistics and configuration, software setup and connectivity, device testing, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated skill and ability in providing local Information & Communication Technology (ICT) support to defined service levels and demonstrated written communication skills including the ability to prepare instructions, reports and system documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to display a logical approach to any customer issue to achieve successful outcomes for DMN keeping an awareness of Metro North Health and Queensland Health strategic directions.
- Self-motivated and proactive about own continuous learning, developing and participating in internal and external training and networks and applying knowledge across within the Digital Operations workplace.
- Proven ability to take responsibility and deliver outcomes within complex situations with minimal supervision.
- Possess and demonstrate outstanding personal qualities, which reflect Metro North Health's values that support, nurture and coach the desired behaviours of other DMN staff.
