We are seeking a Deputy Principal with demonstrated experience in managing the complexities of school operations, supporting curriculum and year-level teams, and leading targeted improvement strategies aligned with the school's strategic direction.
Key Outcomes
You will demonstrate capability aligned with strategic goals:
- Provide operational leadership across assigned portfolios, including oversight of two year levels and curriculum or staff teams
- Monitor and implement systems and procedures to support the effective daily operation of the school
- Contribute to strategic planning and school-wide improvement aligned with state and departmental priorities
- Maintain high standards of legislative compliance and student management
- Work proactively with students, staff, families and community stakeholders to support engagement and positive outcomes
- Support the implementation of evidence-based teaching and learning practices
Your Responsibilities
You will demonstrate day-to-day leadership, systems, and engagement expectations.
- Lead within a large school context, quality-assure management systems, ensure compliance, and provide timely, accurate advice aligned with corporate and departmental standards.
- Apply strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and relational skills to engage proactively with students, staff, parents, and the broader school community.
- Contribute to the Executive Team's instructional and strategic leadership by ensuring operational efficiency, supporting a calm, well-ordered learning environment, and modelling teaching excellence and student engagement.
