Milpera State High School is a unique Intensive English Language school supporting newly arrived refugee and migrant young people as they begin their Australian education journey. With a dedicated team of qualified teachers, bilingual aides, and one of the largest volunteer programs in the Department of Education, we create a welcoming, culturally rich environment where students thrive academically and socially.
Step Into Your Next Chapter:
- The successful applicant will be responsible for the general maintenance, security and repairs for furniture, including some cleaning responsibilities. The candidate will support the teachers and admininstration in day to day duties including: Set up for assemblies, classrooms, maintaining supplies to all areas, set up for sporting events.
- Other duties at the request of the team will be advised on a day to day basis. Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety including maintenance of a safe work environment will be a part of this job
- Seasonal preparation and maintenance of the school grounds will be a key part of the role
- The successful candidate will need the skills to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment and will become a part of a welcoming and caring team catering to the needs of our families.
