The role:

The Cyber Security Program (CSP) and its projects are implementing improvement initiatives identified in the Cyber Security Strategy and Roadmap including upgrading ageing technology, improving existing systems and implementing updated security capabilities.

This role is responsible for undertaking the identification, analysis and documentation of current and future state business processes and requirements within a complex Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment, to ensure the delivery of valued, integrated, and effective Infrastructure Technology Solutions.

Working alongside Project Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders, you'll capture critical requirements and ensure smooth transitions from project phase to business operations. Your work will be integral to creating effective, client-centred solutions and fostering strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.

Is this opportunity for you?

To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience leading and performing business analysis activities, preferably in the health care industry.
  • Experience capturing and analysing ‘As-Is' and ‘To-Be' business process models, preferably using BPMN, as well as documenting business and digital infrastructure requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in applying business analysis techniques, methodologies, and tools, ideally aligned with BABOK Version 3.0.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team, build effective relationships with stakeholders, and mentor other business analysts.
  • Excellent consultation, facilitation, and communication skills—both written and oral—are a must in a project environment.

The following experience will be highly regarded:

  • Experience in leading and executing business analysis activities across Vulnerability Management Services, Endpoint Protection Platforms, Endpoint Privilege Management, Multifactor Authentication, and Project Delivery initiatives.
  • Experience in Firewall and Gateway infrastructure, Privileged Identity Management and/or Cloud Security.

While experience in health care is not a mandatory requirement, we highly value candidates who have demonstrated relevant experience in clinical systems, health IT, or digital health. If your experience is in other sectors, please make sure to outline how your knowledge can transfer to the healthcare context.

As an integral member of the Cyber Security Program, you are supported by the Business Analysis Practice. The Business Analysis Practice provides staff development through an established Business Analysts Career Pathway, professional association membership to the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), access to online learning and training and support through mentoring from the Business Analysts community.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity submit your CV or resume and a short statement (maximum 2 pages) addressing your experience in each of the key areas outlined above.
