An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer to join our Administration Relief Pool. The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication on a daily basis and externally with various departments and agencies. As an Administration Officer for the Administration Relief Pool, you will be available for temporary placement into various Administration roles across various departments and directorates across all Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service locations.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.
  • Provide high quality confidential administration support to the team.
  • Work autonomously, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers in resolution of conflict, meet deadlines, establish work priorities, organise meetings and appointments.
  • Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.

Salary rates: $38.81 - $43.16 p.h. (p/t) or $2950.00 - $3280.70 p.f. (f/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (A03) (Relief Pool position available) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
