As the Business Support Coordinator, you will coordinatie the provision of administration, human resource, finance, information management, procurement and contract management services; and actively contribute to the improvement of business processes and systems that improve the functioning for the division.
Main duties
- Provide effective administrative and business support in relation to the operations of the branch by coordinating and maintaining assets, accounts payable and purchasing activities.
- Contribute to budget management for the branch by monitoring and reviewing budget activity and supporting the senior business positions as required.
- Provide administrative services to fulfil the needs of the branch, maintaining central email accounts, communicating financial reporting deadline updates and information to the business and administration staff on a regular basis and collating, creating and maintaining monthly and quarterly registers and resolve any outstanding issues efficiently.
- Assist senior business staff with monthly and quarterly reporting processes, collating reports, analysing financial transactions, reviewing general ledger accounts and processing journals.
About you
We are searching for someone with:
- Proven experience, skills and knowledge of departmental budgetary and human resource processes and reporting requirements and the ability to extract, collate and interpret information and to prepare and present diverse business reports using data.
- Ability to resolve problems and work autonomously to achieve organisational goals.
- Highly developed interpersonal, consultation and other communication skills, particularly tact, discretion, sensitivity, confidentiality and an ability to communicate and work with senior management and staff alike.
