About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to provide strategic direction for and operational management of the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital's (RBWH's) Safety and Quality systems and processes for clinical incident, risk, and consumer feedback management, mortality review, and policy and procedures, ensuring relevant legislative, regulatory and clinical governance standards are met.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Set and implement the strategic direction for the evidence-based development and management of RBWH systems and processes for clinical incident, risk, and consumer feedback management, mortality review, and policy and procedures in alignment and integration with RBWH, MNH and QH regulatory, legislative and clinical governance requirements, and health service priorities, strategies and plans.
- Apply high-level clinical and managerial expertise and high-level interpretation of existing health service management systems, policies, standards, and other relevant considerations when collaborating with RBWH consumers and staff to identify and solve large-scale, complex clinical governance workflows and/or problems across the organisation.
- Cultivate and lead a positive workplace culture of trust, support, and compassion and foster respectful and productive interprofessional relationships with consumers, within the SQU, across the RBWH, and at the MNH, QH and national levels to advance clinical governance initiatives for the achievement of whole of organisation outcomes.
