About your opportunity:
In this position you will:
- Function as a clinical resource to midwifery staff and other health care professionals utilising clinical skills and knowledge in supporting the MUM of the unit.
- Coordinate, mentor and support new graduate and novice midwives to successfully practice in MGP.
- Provide regular, written, progress reports to the MUM regarding clinical practice, time management and caseload management, critical thinking and decision making for the graduate and novice MGP midwives.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team utilising professional skills and ability to contribute to client centred care to meet the patient's individual health care needs.
- Demonstrate specialised knowledge, experience and clinical skills and competence in a particular area of expertise.
