The Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development is seeking a Project Officer to support the delivery of the Resources Authority Register (RAR) project - a fast-paced, multi-stream digital transformation initiative that will implement a new core contemporary Dynamics365 solution that will supersede the current MyMinesOnline. RAR will include a complete end-to-end lifecycle view from exploration to resources remediation including engagement & compliance. The project will establish a foundational enterprise ecosystem including a Customer Portal, Customer Relationship Management, Case Management, Modern Data and Reporting Platform, and an Integration Platform.
The reusable ecosystem will benefit the whole Department and its future ICT investments. This Brisbane-based role comes with flexible work arrangements and an environment that values your time, your input, and your development.
You will be influential in the flow of communications across the team. A typical day might involve coordinating governance meetings, preparing accurate board minutes, updating project registers, supporting financial tracking, and helping the Project Manager with reporting or briefing materials. You'll also support change management activities and assist in translating business rules into practical documentation.
You're a clear communicator with a talent for coordination. You enjoy variety in your work, and you're comfortable working independently as well as part of a close-knit, collaborative team. You bring experience in supporting ICT or digital projects and are confident using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word. You may have exposure to project artefacts such as action trackers or dashboards and enjoy learning new tools and systems. You're naturally organised, responsive, and enjoy working with others to get things done well.
