About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Lawyer (Child Protection) to join our Family Law Services division. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a lead role in delivering high-quality legal services in family law, domestic and family violence, and child protection matters.
As a senior lawyer, you will not only represent clients but also guide and mentor other legal professionals, contributing to policy development, legal education, and law reform initiatives.
About you
- Expertise: Proven experience in complex family law, child protection, and related areas, with a thorough understanding of ethical and procedural standards.
- Communication: Strong advocacy, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, including those with complex needs, using trauma-informed principles.
- Leadership: A growth mindset with the ability to coach, inspire, and develop others while fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
- Commitment to Social Justice: A genuine passion for promoting fairness and protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals and families.
