  • Salary range: $4912.70 to $5286.40 p.f. (HP4)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

About your opportunity

The Senior Allied Health Practitioner in the Ingham Community Mental Health Team is responsible for the provision of clinical leadership, high-level coordination of service delivery, and high-level support to allied health staff within the service.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

  • For Psychology the successful applicant must possess a four-year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution.
  • For Social Work the successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Social Work as well as eligibility for full membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • For Occupational Therapy the successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Occupational Therapy.
  • Highly Regarded: Appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) under the Mental Health Act 2016 would be highly desirable.
  • Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
  • Probation period may apply.
  • Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
