About us: The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will:
- Actively work with health professionals and other stake holders to identify, plan and implement child and family support services/pathways for children and families at risk of entering/re-entering the child protection system.
- Conduct comprehensive child protection risk assessments and provide clinical support and guidance in relation to the outcomes/recommendations of the assessment to other clinicians working with the child and/or the child's carer/family.
