What you will be doing:
• Deliver high-quality, confidential executive support to the Chief Human Resources Officer, while overseeing all administrative functions of the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer.
• Maintain effective diary and calendar management for the Chief Human Resources Officer, including scheduling meetings, managing appointments and coordinating logistics for internal and external engagements.
• Adopt a proactive approach to ensure tasks are completed promptly and followed up efficiently, including quality-assuring and managing correspondence for approval, responding to emails, and preparing meeting agendas and supporting documents.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking transport and accommodation, and preparing expense claims.
• Perform financial administration tasks using the department's finance system (SAP), such as processing and raising invoices, preparing and analysing financial reports and reconciling transactions.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with staff at all levels within the department, as well as with stakeholders from other public and private sector organisations, to support the Office of the Chief HR Officer.
• Manage competing priorities while consistently delivering high-quality support, ensuring confidentiality and discretion are maintained at all times.
• Provide assistance to Mangers, Directors and the broader People and Culture branch on project work as required.
• Foster a culture of excellence by continuously identifying and implementing improvements to administrative office systems and processes to enhance service delivery.
