As our highly valued Manager, Defence, Space & Aerospace (DSA) you will contribute to ensuring a bright future for Queensland, Australia and our global partners. You will do this with people who want you to grow and progress.

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Director, Priority Sectors, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate initiatives that strengthen Queensland's sovereign capabilities and elevate its international reputation across the defence, space, aerospace, and MRO sectors.
  • Support strategic planning, reporting, budgeting, and operational oversight.
  • Build and manage a high-value client pipeline and stakeholder relationships.
  • Represent Queensland in national and international forums.

What We're Looking For:

  • Deep sector experience in defence, space, or aerospace.
  • Proven ability to manage strategic partnerships and complex trade transactions.
  • Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across cultures and sectors.
  • Understanding of defence export controls and regulatory frameworks.
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain relevant security clearances.
  • Bonus: Qualifications in international business, defence industry, or export control management.
