- Salary range: $60.79 to $65.56 per hour (PO4)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Senior Medical Education Officer will liaise with other Medial Education Staff and Senior Medical Staff to assess training needs for prevocational medical graduates, develop, enhance and deliver training to meet these needs, while contributing to achievement of required training programme accreditation.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Tertiary-level qualification in either education or a health-related discipline is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in education and/or clinical teaching would be advantageous.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
- Highly regarded: Ability and experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of education and training programs.
- Highly regarded: High level knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles.
- Highly regarded: High level knowledge and application of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, curriculum and prevocational accreditation standards for medical education programs.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
