The opportunity
As our Principal HR Business Partner, you will:
• Lead strategic and capability development initiatives and provide specialist human resources (HR) knowledge and skills in the areas of career development, performance, diversity and inclusion, establishment management and analytics, employee relations, safety, wellbeing and injury management.
• Lead a team of HR Business Partners (individual contributors) to deliver high quality HR services, workforce and workplace culture initiatives.
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior executives and managers to design, develop and engage stakeholders to build a contemporary workforce.
• Provide independent HR analysis and advice and contribute to the evaluation of human resources services and initiatives to ensure these are directed to supporting business outcomes.
• Be a liaison point within People and Culture for human resource management activities to ensure that the development and implementation of related policies, programs and services meet business requirements.
• Lead strategies to enhance the department's capability and capacity to improve service quality and responsiveness to customers.
• Prepare accurate, timely and relevant workforce reports, business cases, submissions, briefings and correspondence.
• Contribute to and participate in a range of HR Business Partnering and broader People and Culture team agendas including selection panels, team meetings, HR leadership sessions, strategic and business planning.
