Information Officer
Labour Hire Licensing Compliance; Industrial Relations; Brendale
You will contribute to the LHLCU operations by providing information to a broad range of clients on the labour hire licensing scheme and recording and registering intelligence relevant to labour hire compliance functions. The position also assists Principal Inspectors and the Lead Inspector on investigations, audits and labour hire licensing compliance community education activities.
You will also operate as part of a team that values continuous professional growth and supports a collaborative, inclusive, and positive workplace culture. Provide accurate and relevant information to stakeholders to advise them about the labour hire licensing scheme and related information, including interpretation of the LHL Act and relevant legislation.
Conduct research and analysis about complex matters and prepare responses, information papers and correspondence to stakeholders.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the Labour Hire Licensing Scheme.
In this role, you will:
- Provide accurate and timely advice to stakeholders regarding the Labour Hire Licensing (LHL) Act and related legislation.
- Conduct research and analysis on complex matters, preparing clear and wellinformed responses, briefing papers, and correspondence for stakeholders.
- Assist with case investigations, audits, and educational activities to promote compliance and understanding of labour hire requirements.
- Manage stakeholder information using a case management system, analyse licensing data, and generate statistical reports on compliance trends.

- Deliver high-quality service in line with relevant policies and procedures, with a commitment to continuous business process improvement.

- Interpret and apply legislation, demonstrating sound knowledge of labour hire practices and relevant legal frameworks.

- Assess customer needs, conduct research, and develop practical and appropriate responses and solutions.
- Work independently, demonstrating strong organisational and time management skills.
- Adapt to change, handle ambiguity with resilience, and maintain a focus on delivering outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong legislative interpretation skills and an understanding of contemporary issues related to labour hire or similar regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service excellence.
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and deliver high-quality outcomes under minimal supervision.
