Your new Role:
This role is designed to deliver clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced leadership within the specialty of post-disaster mental health recovery. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides both direct and indirect care as needed, working closely with the Assistant Director of Nursing and the broader MSAMHS healthcare team to support the clinical unit in delivering safe, high-quality healthcare. This is achieved by upholding exemplary clinical nursing standards specific to post-disaster mental health recovery. The Clinical Nurse Consultant collaborates with individuals, families, carers, volunteers, and communities to offer essential clinical care and create a therapeutic environment that respects the dignity and well-being of all affected by disaster and trauma.
