The Infrastructure Office at the Townsville University Hospital works with diverse stakeholders across the Hospital and Health Service, the local construction sector and allied service providers to deliver ‘value for money' infrastructure outcomes that support excellence in health service delivery.

- Salary range: $136,035 to $145,990 p.a. (AO7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

The opportunity
Fixed Term Temporary Full-time for 2 years (with the possibility of extension dependent on ongoing funding) Two positions available.
Please note, this is a State funded initiative for a specified fixed term temporary period with the option of extension for a further period. If the State funding is extended, the fixed term temporary arrangement will align to the specified funding period.
About the role
- Lead and manage the delivery of small to large scale capital works projects within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (Townsville HHS) project management methodology.
- Effectively manage the engagement and performance of project consultants and contractors to enable delivery of an on time, on budget quality project.
- Ensure project outcomes are achieved, and project management capability is maintained by leading a multidisciplinary team within a complex health environment.
