One of the key projects under this office is the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade Project - Stage 1 ($1.004 billion). This project will contribute to a safer, more efficient and more effective rail network that meets the current and future needs of the Sunshine Coast Region by improving capacity, reliability and safety.

• Lead and coordinate the project's communications, community engagement and stakeholder relations program, ensuring the timely and accurate flow of information to the community, media and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee and guide the Contractor's communication and engagement team, reviewing and approving key materials, and ensuring alignment with project objectives and TMR's strategic direction.
• Provide high-level strategic advice on media management, executive correspondence and emerging reputational risks, and support the development of effective issues management strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across government, industry and community groups to promote open and transparent engagement that supports project success.
• Ensure all communications activities are delivered in accordance with governance and approval frameworks, stakeholder engagement guidelines and legislative requirements.
• Foster a proactive and collaborative team culture that supports continuous improvement and positive outcomes for stakeholders and the community.
