About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide administration support to frontline clinical staff and to provide a continuity of administration duties required to deliver client focussed, high quality and efficient services. This role provides expert leadership for the service by providing a range of corporate service support structures that are efficient, effective, and supportive of patient-centred care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Supervise and support the facility-based administration team to maximise clinical outcomes and productivity by co-ordinating administrative staff activities, work practices and resources with a view to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of services in line with changing priorities and accreditation requirements.
  • In collaboration with the Facility Manager, oversee the logging and maintenance of engineering requests in a timely manner.
  • Comply with the requirements of workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviour in the work environment.
