About you:
In your new role you will:
- Providing comprehensive education on a defined range of topics to individual patients or groups of patients.
- Develop quality leadership skills in relation to the delivery of Occupational Therapy services within the Cairns Hospital by initiating, implementing and evaluating Occupational Therapy workplace instructions, relevant to the position and supporting organisational change.
- Facilitate and monitor self development to ensure ongoing education in order to meet professional competency, and mandatory training requirements, developing and maintaining records of same as evidence for audit purposes.
- Provision of supervision to less experienced staff and students, including facilitation of ongoing training as well as teaching and assessment of generic competencies.
