What's involved – Provide clinical skills, support and education to patients/clients and nursing staff to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.The purpose of this role is to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of human and material resources, provide nursing leadership and to support effective business practices for the Longreach Hospital inpatient unit, emergency department and perioperative service (in collaboration with the CNC Perioperative Service). This role is responsible for implementing plans related to safe, consumer focused clinical care, and the continuous quality improvement and ongoing professional development of staff.
