An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer – Compliance WorkCover/PEF to join our Revenue Team. The Administration Officer provides support for Revenue Services in providing a quality accounts receivable service, encompassing the co-ordination and preparation of client accounts, maintaining the accuracy of the HBCIS Debtor Module, extracting data and compiling reports, processing banking, receipting and distribution of all receipts raised. This role also involves implementing and maintaining audit requirements for the service, whilst maintaining the accuracy of information system.

The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication on a daily basis and externally with various departments and agencies.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Utilise information systems to record and update all patient demographic information, Medicare details and referral details. Also, using these systems to track the movement of patient charts, health fund details and admission details, ensuring data integrity and patient confidentiality by adhering to approved policies, guidelines and workplace instructions.
- Liaising with external agencies as required. Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of recognised policies, procedures and legislative requirements relating to Private Practice arrangements and Medicare billing compliance. This will enable checking for bulk billing and Private Health Insurance billing, checking charts to ensure correct clinics and accounts have been raised.
- Accurate data entry, across all financial systems utilised, strong working knowledge of Computer systems within Microsoft suites.
- Compliance checks to be performed monthly on Patient Election Forms, MAIC and billable patients in addition to ad hoc compliance testing as required.
Remuneration value up to $97 656 p.a, comprising salary between $76 963 - $85 591 p.a, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (temporary position available for 12 months).
