About your role:

  • Management of the Gastroenterology/Hepatology referral waitlist to ensure all bookings are made within the urgency category timeframe. Weekly auditing of the waitlist utilising necessary reporting tools. Escalation of referrals to triaging clinicians with the potential of breaching the urgency category thresholds.
  • Completion of patient medical documentation, correctly labelled and made available for daily collection via the Medical Record Central Scanning Unit.
  • Identify own source revenue (OSR) opportunities and complete all relevant paperwork to ensure recovery of funds including Guarantee of Payment for ineligible patients.
