Manager Demand & Resource Management

Reporting to the Senior Director, Digital Partnership Teams (DPTs), the Manager, Demand and Resource Management is responsible for management of the Demand Management Framework utilised by the Digital Partnership Teams to assist in the delivery of a more systematic, high quality consistent service through optimised use of DPT resources to meet emergent and forecast demand. The manager will ensure that continuous improvement activities are applied to the framework to achieve the best outcomes across the DPTs and eHealth stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and evolve the demand management framework (including associated processes and systems), ensuring it provides an effective mechanism to identify, define and plan the provision of DPT resources in an agile and responsive manner.
- Maintain effective relationships with and act as a key engagement point for DPT project managers, DPT managers and as required customers and business partners to identify, define and plan the provision of resources from across the state's DPTs. This includes negotiating conflicts to ensure that customer (internal and external) demands and organisational priorities are met.
- Develop and implement executive and management reporting to create transparency on the demand pipeline and current program of work across DPTs in relation to resource capacity, undertake detailed analysis and provide recommendations on resource capacity and capability requirements.
How you will be assessed
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and promote demand management practices within a large, complex service delivery organisation.
- Demonstrated high level understanding of end-to-end IT customer service delivery (ITSM/ITIL).
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills incorporating the ability to liaise and consult effectively with personnel at all levels within and external to eHealth Queensland and build strong working relationships.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to establish own work priorities and manage time effectively, whilst remaining flexible to respond to changing needs in a busy environment.
