You are invited to join a dynamic team with Strategy, Planning and Infrastructure Services as Administration Officer. The Administration Officer functions as a member of the CHHHS Capital Works Team and is accountable for delivering a range of administration services to the team. This role will focus on supporting the governance and reporting requirements of capital projects, providing secretariat duties, maintaining schedules and attendance registers, monitoring action plans, and updating monthly reports.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will: 

• Provide high quality, confidential administrative support in a mature and professional manner which ensures the integrity and efficiency of that office.
• Coordinate and assist Management in compiling the Project Status Report, an executive level summary and status update of all accountable area projects.
• Act as point of contact in relation to the monitoring of current delegation manuals for Finance and provide advice with regard to financial issues and the interpretation of financial reports.
• Undertake procurement activities, obtaining quotes, raising purchase requisitions, processing invoices and payment of claims for capital projects in accordance with the Financial Management Practice Manual and State Government Purchasing guidelines.
