The Townsville University Hospital Psychology Department delivers clinical, health, and neuropsychology services to adult and paediatric inpatients and outpatients of the Townsville University Hospital and North Queensland region. The Psychology Service provides access to psychological assessments and interventions that contribute to the patient's ongoing clinical management and care.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $49.83 to $73.24 p.h. (casual rate) (HP3)
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year qualification in Psychology, and be eligible for provisional or general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsychBA).
- While not mandatory, a PsychBA Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Health Psychology would be highly regarded, as would PsychBA approved Supervisor status.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
